TELL US ABOUT YOUR LATEST PROJECT.

Right now I’m in the studio finishing up two projects. a few songs for the new Blondie record that I’ve been working on with Debbie and Chris, and also doing the film score for a feature film called “Concussion” starring cast members from Mad Men, West Wing & Synecdoche. (the film is directed by Stacie Passon and has been chosen for the IFP film lab).

WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT YOUR NAMBA GEAR BAG?

I had been dreaming about a bag being designed by musicians, specifically producers, that travel with gear. I was actually complaining about it on Twitter and one of my followers tweeted me back with the Namba Youtube video which really got me psyched when I saw how much equipment easily fits into it. I must have watched the video ten times and was talking about it to some friends when all of a sudden they showed up with a Big Namba Studio Backpack for my birthday present. I carry it with me everywhere I go now and every time I pack it and unpack it, I have a huge smile on my face. I love things that are streamline and practical. This bag is the ultimate in genius design.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE REMOTE RECORDING LOCATION.

I’ve been splitting my time scoring this film between doing sessions in my pro studio in Brooklyn and also working from my lap top & midi control keyboard out at my beach house on Fire Island. I can bring everything I need to set up and score right in the Namba bag. The pockets make for an easy set up and break down because everything has its own compartment. and also the straps are designed so that even when there’s a lot of equipment inside it doesnt hurt my back when I’m traveling. I’m really grateful the Namba company exists and that you guys figured this out ! Thank you !!!
